Edinburgh is the Festival City. It’s where people come together to share their passion for arts, culture and ideas. With 12 Festivals throughout the year there’s a phenomenal number of events, performances and spectacles to choose from.
With the hectic summer season behind it the world's leading Festival city is gearing up for winter, and another of it's legendary Festivals, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay which is home to the world's largest New Year's Eve street party. This year Edinburgh's Hogmanay has expanded and has added some fantastic new events over it's four day programme.
And don't forget that just because the summer Festivals are over, they’re not forgotten – have a look through the videos and features about the 2008 summer festivals and remember it’s never too early to start planning for 2009.
